floating blossoms….

my dd and her sweet friend yesterday….we went to a beautiful park/gardens and there was a flowering cherry tree to the side of this rock….The girls loved the blossoms swirling around them. :) I know there are a few hot spots from the sun—how’s the color???? The first one looks a bit warm to me- TFL!!!

blooms

so, i have been soooo off-topic this week—i’m not sure i even know what it is–but, had to capture these blooms from the pear trees in my yard. DH said that they look kinda fake–but, I didn’t do much–just ran defog, bumped up the contrast a tad, and then posted. I did pop the saturation a tad in the second crop to bring out the rose color—

love CC!

template

i posted these in the gallery last night–but decided to post them here as well—I made my first template last night!! yeah me! It’s basic I know–but, I am glad that I have got the steps down and can now go nuts……Usually I just make my own collages but haven’t ever saved them as PSD files–so, they were just a one shot deal. Yeah!

The second photo is dd’s “OH MY!” expression—it makes me laugh…..:) Took these on program mode yesterday. CC welcome!

yes….more beach….:)

are you sick of beach pics yet??? sorry…..the first two are dh and dd. I used Jess’s overexposed vintage on the first one to make the blues pop.

The 3rd photo dh took—it’s always nice to be ‘in’ the picture sometimes—isn’t it? This is me and my sweet baby girl with her adorable puppy hat on! gotta love target!

Which photo looks better #3 -or #4 with a color pop??? I thought I would like #4 better–but when I got them printed, I actually liked the lighter one better.

Thanks for looking and sorry if I am boring you with all these beach pics! :)

more beach

i think this week is going to be beach pictures for me—but, look at all the color in these…:)
i love how the sun is peeking through in the top one and the golden yellows.

First photo–SOOC, ran a defog, boosted contrast, and then sharpened for web
2nd photo–SOOC, ran a defog, boosted contrast, sponged a little to highlight the pink in the H20.

HHCC welcome!

Monday

we spent the weekend at the beach! great getaway and since it is only March–we felt like we had a little piece of the beach since it wasn’t crowded.
I used Jess’s overexposed vintage on this one—I like the greens and blues in the water…..
HHCC welcome!

wednesday

off theme today—but, here are a couple shots that I took this morning. I like the warm tones in this photo and was inspired to do an audrey woulard type of shot—-obviously no where near as great as hers—but, that’s where the inspiration came from.

I like the height of the background in the first picture and how ‘little’ dd looks on the stool, but I don’t like the light glare in the framed pic of her on the mantle. So, I cropped it.

TFL and HHCC welcome!

We are off to the beach for the weekend!!!
