this was one of g’s cmas presents……so much fun! the easel was a great investment! painting, chalk, drawing, and a dry erase board. Very fun! Set up the painting side the other day–and she had a blast…..
i think she loves it……she ‘kissed’ the paint—notice her ‘lipstick’….
so far, g has loved all artsy stuff…..love that! a girl after my own heart…..can’t wait to enjoy crafts with her as she gets older…..
Merry Christmas!!! Hope you are having a great Christmas Eve! We have been cooking around here and will head to church tonight for a Christmas Eve Service. Our church is joining another local church to do a Service together. It’ll be a Christmas and Carols Service…so looking forward to that. Then, we’ll let G open up one present….then the rest tomorrow…. J & I rented “Amazing Grace” to watch tonight—I hope it’s good.
This is how gracen closes her eyes…it cracks me up. She doesn’t know how to just close her eyes–using her eyelids—so everytime we say “close your eyes”–this is what she does:

this is our sweet baby girl on her first Christmas—she was still in Taiwan and the caretakers were so sweet to put little Santa Hats on the children and take their picture. It would be another 3 months before I could finally have her in my arms!!!!! Oh how I stared at this picture…..
so thankful for my family this holiday season and so hoping and praying that 2008 brings our 2nd child…..
took dd to see ElMO LIVE last night! It was an absolute B L A S T!!! She absolutely loved it! Her eyes lit up and she had the biggest smile on her face when Big Bird and Elmo came onto stage. We had been telling her all day we were going to see “BIG ELMO” and it was so much fun. She wasn’t scared at all….and we had AWESOME seats—2nd row and so she even got tickled by Telly and held hands with Zoe…….much to her delight and amusement! 
this cracked us up…..IMMEDIATELY once they announced intermission out came about 4-5 of these massive Elmo balloon bundles……as you can imagine, kids everywhere are screaming and exclaiming…”ELMO!!!”
With $8.00 less in their pockets, parents everywhere were holding onto a balloon….
(no, we did not get g a balloon for $8.00!)

the delphiniums are gorgeous and he did a great job with the color combo….beautiful!
I’ve been wanting to get some shots of G in her christmas dress outside—but, as you can see…it’s COLD! So, I am thinking it took me longer to bring the stool outside and set up than the actual shoot….oh well……:)
g’s first time in a sled…:) many more to come….
then, we came in to enjoy this……
and some hot apple cider…yum! only 8 more days til Christmas! wow!
